We translate from English into Spanish and Spanish into English (mostly, but other languages too).
We live our shared life in two languages, and this improves our work – every day we help each other to produce the best possible translations for our clients.

I grew up in Spain with a love of languages. After studying in Spain and the UK, I learned the ropes at a translation agency specialising in localization, which still remains an important focus for me.
I also worked at universities for a few years, but freelance translation beckoned in 2005, and since then I have worked with dozens of agencies and clients around the world. I enjoy the variety.
These days, I mostly deliver on localization, medical translation, videogames, and marketing, and I am also a certified sworn translator.
Looking ahead, I want to expand upon my work in creative areas, such as videogames, subtitling and marketing, which is where I feel that human translators can really provide added value.
Petra Mahon

Hi, I’m Petra. I was born and brought up in London, but I moved to Spain in 1994, and it has been my home ever since.
Language has been a constant feature in almost every job I’ve had, but you could say that my “calling” is translation. My main focus in this field is on creative writing, scripts, audiovisual translation and advertising, although my day-to-day work covers an ample spectrum of topics to always keep me on my toes.
Jose and I, along with our three kids, live in a beautiful part of Andalusia, surrounded by woodland – a great place to live and work!
